Text: Molecular Genetics of Bacteria, 3rd Edition, Snyder and Champness, 2007
Course Objectives: To understand the genetic processes of bacteria and viruses and to examine the molecular mechanisms that control these processes.

Grading: Hourly exams 200 (Best two exam scores out of three)
Final exam 200 (Cumulative)
Total 400 points

There will be NO make-up exams. Grading will be based solely on exam scores on a typical 10-percentage point grading scale.
